The 2018 ACIPC Conference will showcase advances, research and topical issues relating to infection prevention and control along with the latest innovations from industry, as well as providing invaluable networking opportunities.
This year’s conference will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, 19 November – 21 November 2018.

Dress throughout the conference is neat casual. Dress for each function is indicated in the function description.
The registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Participants are advised to take out personal insurance, including cover for travel, accommodation and personal possessions. Neither the Organising Committee or Conference Design Pty Ltd covers individuals against the cancellations of bookings for any reason including cancellation or postponement of the conference or for theft or damage to belongings.
Name badges will be issued when registering at the conference. For security purposes the conference name badge must be worn at all times during the conference and social functions.
The BCEC provide undercover parking for up to 1500 vehicles with direct lift access to the Centre’s multiple convention floors and exhibition facilities.

Conference Design Pty Ltd will gather and record personal information necessary for your attendance at the Conference. Personal information will be gathered, stored and disseminated in accordance with the National Privacy Principles.
The conference and social functions are non-smoking.
Please note any special requirements, for example dietary or mobility, when registering for the conference. All special requirements will be forwarded to the venue. For pre-arranged special dietary requirements please make yourself known to the waiting staff at all functions.
During conference the daily mean maximum temperature is around 27°C and the mean minimum temperature overnight is around 15°C.

Australian electricity supply is 240V, 50Hz. The connection for appliances is a flat 3-pin plug.
English is the official language of the Conference. Translation services are not provided.
All international delegates, apart from New Zealand citizens, must obtain a Visa or Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) before travelling to Australia. Please ensure you organise your documentation well in advance of travel.
