Getting the message across – What have we learned from public health advocacy?

This presentation will outline some of the key lessons learned from the public health arena in terms of identifying and achieving advocacy objectives. It will cover identifying objectives and targets, developing evidence-based campaigns, coalitions and consensus, different forms of advocacy, communication through various media, who can do what, some key challenges, and some brief examples and conclusions
